It is the title of a poem I really like:
Go placidly amid the noise and the haste,
and remember what peace there may be in silence.
As far as possible, without surrender,

Avoid loud and aggressive persons;
they are vexatious to the spirit.
If you compare yourself with others,

Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.

it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.

2. What do you do for a living?
I am starting graduate school this fall for a neuroscience PhD – very excited!
3. Describe your hidden talent
I can organize any thing! And I love doing it! It relaxes me…
4. Tell us about your most embarrassing moment
I needed glasses starting in 6th grade,mac makeup wholesale, and I was the only person in my class who had them. The first day I wore them, every one made fun of me and called me Four Eyes and all sorts of names. I refused to wear my glasses to school that whole year until I got to middle school. For some reason, I was so embarrassed. Embarrassing enough at the time that I didn’t wear my glasses for a whole year and always had to sit in front so I could see the blackboard lol… It seems silly now, but it was pretty hurtful then.
5. What is your guilty pleasure?
Shopping…. on RTC
6. What makes you cringe?
I can’t help but cringe when people pick at their hang nails, it really bothers me.
7. Who is your celebrity crush?
Patrick Dempsey… McDreamy lol
8. Describe the one item of clothing you can’t live without
My swim suit because I love swimming in the ocean on a hot day. I would love to see some more bikinis on RTC!
9. If you can be anywhere right now, where would you be? Why?
I would be next to my boyfriend, we are doing a long distance relationship in different graduate schools, and I would be so happy just to do my day-to-day things with him next to me.
10. Why do you love RTC?
It’s a fun break from studying to check what is rotating through for sale and what is being discussed on ChickChat, and it feels good to find good deals on cute clothes
